After establishing and managing an extraordinarily successful grain trading and process business in Canada for over 13 years, Raj Jain founded HiemCo in 2015, as a privately-held, independent grain brokerage firm servicing industries (but not limited to) grains, specialty crops and oil seeds with marketing strengths in all origins and destinations within the trade – both domestically and internationally – a global source.
Each independent trader on the team comes to the group with a wealth of experience and knowledge as either a global marketer and/or handler of grains, oilseeds, by-products and specialty crops for both feed and food markets, including specializations in supply chain, risk and freight management.
The team can save buyers and sellers hours of R&D and negotiation strife while adding value in assisting to clarify and confirm information in today’s dynamic markets as an independent entity. As the free-trade environment continues to experience consolidation in the markets there is an opaque price discovery – which is where HiemCo can help identify, foster, and execute a more educated, transparent pricing environment.
